Boiler Water Treatment

  Home

The use of chemical treatments for boiler plants to control scaling and corrosion potential is long established. It is however necessary to ensure that such treatment programs are monitored on a regular basis to ensure economic control.

If you run with excessive blowdown you are literally throwing down the drain not just the chemicals that you have paid for but all the energy that you have used to heat the water. A correctly monitored and maintained system should pay for itself in energy savings.
Too little blowdown will lead to scaling and reduced heat transfer efficiency, again costing you more for fuel.

We can assist you to control water quality within BS 2486 parameters.
